The research report entitled “Integrating Companies into the Circular Economy Case Studies and a Roadmap,” prepared by Bingül Satıoğlu and Çağla Eskici under the auspices of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Strategic Research Center (İTOSAM), has been published.

The report examines companies transition to the circular economy, the practices they have developed within this framework, and the experience they have gained throughout the transformation process. Its findings are based on field research conducted with companies operating across a range of sectors in Türkiye.

The comprehensive report prepared by İTOSAM provides an in-depth analysis of:

• The key motivations and transformation dynamics driving companies towards the circular economy;
• Circular economy practices implemented across different sectors and the tangible outcomes generated by these practices; and
• The challenges encountered during the circular transition, as well as the support mechanisms required to facilitate this transformation.

Drawing on the experiences of the participating companies, the report also introduces the DÖNGÜSEL Model, which provides a structured framework to guide companies in assessing their current position, identifying strategic priorities, strengthening measurement and monitoring systems, and scaling up successful circular economy practices.
